CSAV ups cash borrowing

Financially troubled CSAV has raised a further USD90 million from German bank DVB to complete the financing of the last two of its 7 x 8.000TEU vessels ordered from Samsung Heavy Industries. The first, the Tolten (8.O73TEU), has just been delivered, and the second, the Tirua (8.004TEU), is due for delivery before the end of June. The loan period is 12 years.
