There was no let-up in the production of containers for the transport of refrigerated cargoes in the opening months of the year, with output in Q1 12 amounting to almost 80,000TEU. The strong demand was related to continuing growth in the movement of perishable products by sea and an accelerating rate of conversion from specialised reefer shipping services to container liner options.
