Michelin's Jean-Louis Cambon dies age 59

lean-Louis Cambon, head of Michelin's Ocean Management Committee and outspoken chairman of the European Shippers Council's Maritime Transport Council, died of cancer on May 10, 2012, aged 59. He harboured hopes of a recovery right to the end, and is survived by his wife and three children. He will be missed by the industry. Due to his long experience within the ocean carrier sector, followed by 12 years with Michelin, his views on liner shipping were always considered and balanced.
