The Far East region still has many emerging market opportunities for companies in the box sector, including still in China where there are already a dozen (12) or so millionaire ports. In particular, new and larger facilities need to be developed along the Yangtze river corridor as more manufacturing capacity is shifted to inland areas of China. Additionally, further container-handling capacity is needed in the Bohai Bay area of northern China and in the central region, based on the Xiamen-Fuzhou maritime cluster.
