New pinots show Yarra's sub-regionality

Winemaker Macgregor Forbes is one of those young breezes of fresh air that flow through Australia's wine districts with some regularity. With considerable international winemaking experience, after a period of a couple of vintages in charge at the late Dr John Middleton's iconic Mt Mary vineyard in the Yarra Valley, Forbes has just released five single vineyard Pinot Noirs (plus a couple of Chardonnays) sourced from various Yarra Valley sub-regions.
