The way forward for cellar door tourism beyond the pandemic

Margaret River was, fortunately, spared the bushfires and the smoke taint fiasco that has made world news. Many wineries had, prior to COVID-19 landing on our shores, developed new wine experiences and online booking systems. Exports were growing, wine tourism was growing and Jetstar was about to launch its first new route in 20 years, flying directly from Melbourne to Busselton-Margaret River airport. Finally, our friends from the east coast would be able to visit us and not have to do the three hour drive from Perth.
