With the upheaval to 'business-as-usual' caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many wineries are waking up to the realisation that their most profitable sales channel, DTC, has largely been neglected.While cellar door sales may have been thriving, many wineries haven't made the most of this captured audience and have since found themselves without a source of recurring revenue from since the pandemic struck.
