Before attacks on petroleum facilities in Saudi Arabia and the European Central Bank board meeting which reduced the deposit rate andprompted a new round of quantitative easing, the rouble moved alongthe projected path, but those events shifted towards appreciation. MetalExpert does not expect a significant rise in oil prices, while the roublewill somewhat weaken over time from mid-September levels.
