Prices to increase in August-September

In late May, Metinvest-SMC cut prices for June production of HR sheetsby 5% to prevent an inflow of cheaper imports from Russia.The situation in the export market remained largely unchanged: MetinvestInternational S.A. has almost sold out July-produced HRC at $475-480/tFOB Black Sea and is slow to cut prices. Domestic HR sheet prices are$30/t higher than the export ones, which is close to the norm.
