Prices to start rising in January

HRC prices to welded pipe producers in the European part of the countrydropped by 5-6% in November, with final prices for September-Octoberfeedstock ending up agreed on retroactively.Consumer activity kept decreasing in the segment for small and mediumdiameter welded pipes in November due to the end of the high construction season as well as a moderate procurement policy pursued bytraders. Pipe makers continued negotiating over a retroactive revision ofSeptember prices, citing the fact that small and medium diameter weldedpipes were priced much lower than feedstock.
