Functional assessment of the spine through an optoelectronic system

The individual shape, mobility and functional assessment of the spine is an essential predictor for different lumbar degenerative pathologies. Considering the importance of checkups to monitor rehabilitation and clinical state of the disease the analysis of the lumbar spine and pelvis during standing and in full flexion, it is not possible to use X-ray as the stochastic and organic risks are important [1,2].
