摘要

Down syndrome (DS) is the result of a genetic alteration that affects approximately 1.3% of live births in Brazil [1]. Individuals with this syndrome can have a normal life, but with some motor and cognitive impairments. Neuromotor learning is one of the issues investigated in cases of DS, [2] but few studies have associated this process with the behaviour of the electroencephalographic (EEG) signal. According to the literature, anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) has demonstrated satisfactory results with regard to motor learning in children with cerebral palsy [3,4] and it is believed that the same can be achieved in children with DS.
