摘要

A 3D MOF with the coexistence of two kinds of copper-iodide motifs: vertex-missing-cubane Cu3I3S clusters and crown-shaped eight-numbered Cu4I4 rings, was successfully constructed by employing a multidentate ligand TPSA. The ligand is so flexible that it can adopt different conformations and coordination modes in one system, which may be mainly responsible for the assembly of this distinctive structure. The compound exhibits a red emission with the peak of 625 nm at room temperature, and shows a temperature-dependent behavior from red to green as temperature decreases, which suggests its potential application as a luminescent ratiometric thermometer.
