Extrusions: Demand remains solid across most end use markets

Participants in the North American extrusion market continue to describe an environment of healthy demand, and are pleased that it appears to be coming from the broad spectrum of end uses (not just one or two). Overall, the extrusion market is healthy, and CRU understands the industry is operating at near effective capacity levels and lead times are stable. Most companies are still running on a five days a week schedule, so there is room to add a sixth day or a shift if need be.
