China: Seasonal factors soften demand

Chinese demand softened in July on heavy rains and high temperatures. Construction and infrastructureprojects have slowed down and downstream plants lowered utilisation rates (UTs). Demand is likely toremain soft until the end of August, but is expected to strengthen in September and October.
