The monograph on organotin chemistry by Alwyn G.Davies,first published in 1997 and now in its second edition,has been extended by a few chapters and now covers the literature up to the beginning of 2003.Furthermore,the author has used this opportunity to undertake a thorough revision.The book impressively reflects the importance that organotin compounds have achieved in organic synthesis.
