DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF CARBONATE FISSURED RESERVOIRS IN EASTERN SIBERIA (THE CASE STUDY OF THE YURUBCHENO-TOKHOMSKAYA OIL-AND-GAS ACCUMULATION AREA)

Development of oil and gas pools revealed in fissured reservoirs in Eastern Siberia is a problem of fundamental importance for development of its hydrocarbon resource base. This concerns first of all the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskaya oil-and-gas accumulation area (YTA) in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, which has huge hydrocarbon reserves. Numerous pools of YTA fields occur in ancient carbonates of the Riphean age. The fissured nature of the void space complicates the problem of their development and makes it specific. Pilot operation of exploratory wells is of particular importance for field development planning in the region. The object of the article is experience gained by NGK Slavneft Public Corporation during operation of exploratory wells on the Kuyumbinsky license section of the YTA. The basis of the principle structure of oil and gas traps in the Kuyumbinskoye field is disintegrated benches of Riphean rocks horizontally and vertically limited by impermeable and poorly permeable carbonate and clastic-carbonate varieties of Riphean (in the first case) and Vendian (in the second one) deposits. Regional seals of pools are sulfate-carbonate rocks of the Vendian age and halogen-carbonate rocks of the Low Cambrian Usolye formation.
