The upward trend for AN prices has continued in the Russian market in the second half of November. As before, the main support for the prices has been provided by high demand from farmers, who have been actively purchasing fertilizers for the spring application. The strengthening of the rouble against the US dollar by 4pc in November and the decline in quotations of export cargoes of AN in the Black Sea by $4/t, to $165-170/t fob, have not had a noticeable efect on the market.
