Farmers are looking to buy nitrates and skip urea applica- tion, in the face of the mild weather. There is increasing competition among suppliers for AN and CAN sales, with many regional players active, driving prices lower. Domestic producer Interagro is ofering prilled AN 33.5 at RON900/t (€187/t) ex-works from its Slobozia plant. But the supplier has been linked to even lower sales under recent tenders. Bulgarian supplier Agropolychim is ofering prilled AN 34.4 at the same level, ex-works in Devnya.
