Monitoring the Shape Evolution of Silver Nanoplates: A Marker Study

In the past two decades, substantial efforts have been made to control the shape of nanostructured materials because of their strong shape-dependent chemical and physical properties. Classic examples include semiconductor nanorods that exhibit linearly polarized emission and metal nanoplates that show tunable surface plasmon resonance.
