摘要

Over the past two decades, it has been established that growth factors, cytokines, and a host of other ligands trigger the production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in nonphagocytic cells through their corresponding membrane receptors. Such H2O2 generation has been demonstrated to regulate many basic cellular processes including growth, differentiation, adhesion, migration, senescence, and autophagy. Once formed, H2O2 promotes autophosphorylation of the membrane receptor and induction of the signaling cascade.
