摘要

The discovery of new procedures for the direct functionaliza-tion of C-H bonds may inspire alternative "greener" synthetic strategies. So far, the intense research in this field has led to several methods for C-H functionalization using transition-metal complexes. For transformations such as oxidations, dehydrogenations, borylations, and some C-C formations, the metal accomplishes the difficult cleavage of C-H bonds at its coordination sphere, often with the help of non-innocent ligands or external bases.
