摘要

The assembly and fragmentation of nitrogen chains in ionic species and organic compounds,as well as those coordinated to metal centers,have been investigated in the context of new high-energy molecular compounds.As potentially reactive fragments,they have been stabilized by coordination to transition metals.A variety of singly and multiply bonded nitrogen-based molecular fragments have thus acted as ligands in transition-metal compounds.
