摘要

Research on hydrogen embrittlement byelectrochemical hydrogen permeation technique is reviewed inthis paper. Diffusion coefficient of hydrogen (D) and hydrogenpermeation rate (J) can be more easily determined byelectrochemical hydrogen permeation technique than otherhydrogen measurement methods. Threshold hydrogen contentfor hydrogen embrittlement can be determined and hydrogenembrittlement mechanism is discussed by focusing effects ofmetallurgical factors on apparent D. Effects of environmentalfactors on J have been investigated and hydrogen enteringmechanism can be discussed by transition of J. Theelectrochemical hydrogen permeation technique can be used as amonitoring system in plants. It can be also applied to "in-situmeasurement" by combining with other tests of fracturemechanics, ultrasonic wave C-scanning and so on. It will have apotential of new experimental variation to research on hydrogen embrittlement.
