Lure of the Bay

After having fished many different estuary systems along the east coast I can honestly say Botany Bay, right on Sydney's doorstep, stacks up even better than some of the more remote places. And one of the best things I like about fishing Botany Bay isthat you can leave the smelly bait at home and feel confident about catching plenty of fish on lures. Sure, not every species that calls the big bay home will have a swipe at a lure, but favourites like flathead, bream, tailor and a few others certainly are viable lure-only targets.
