Better Breaming

With bream widespread around the Australian coast, it's easy to catch a few small ones, but it takes a bit of thought and effort to consistently catch big bream, writes Jamie Robley. Bream are one of the country's most popular recreational angling species. They're caught in every state, along beaches, rocks, offshore, in estuaries and well up into the freshwater reaches of our coastal rivers. Pikey bream are found in tropical regions, black bream in the southern states and yellowfin bream overlap these areas.
