NBT Summer Manufacturing Camp Program Wraps Its Ninth Season

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, provided grants for 10 summer manufacturing camps in 2012. The students were introduced to wind energy generation technology, food product manufacturing, toy manufacturing, rapid prototyping, aerospace and aviation, packaging, catapults, auto racing, and more. They designed, prototyped, and manufactured products they could take home and show their family and friends and competed in production challenges as teams.
