Health informatics

摘要

IT-014 was established to develop health informatics Standards for the health sector. The aims are to ensure a consolidated approach to development of health informatics Standards, to influence the adoption of standards and guidelines published by IT-014 and to respond to the health sector's information needs. IT-014 Committee Members are making significant contributions to both international and national projects in health informatics Standards development, for example, electronic health records, health supply chain, messaging, terminology, representation of health concepts, and client and provider identification. Many Standards and guidelines have been developed which will support the initiatives proposed by the Commonwealth government to implement an Australia-wide e-Health information network.
