Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology has been applied in the water industry for over ten years, although most activity has occurred within the past five years. The technology is a rapidly developing field and the learnings of designers, operators and membrane suppliers are now coming from real-world, practical operating experience.rnThe combination of MBR and Reverse Osmosis (RO) technologies also appears to be gaining favour, driven by ever expanding requirements for higher quality reclaimed water and improving relative cost factors.rnThis paper describes a representative selection of projects Tenix Alliance has undertaken in recent years.
