%The drinking water quality management in the United State of America has been surveyed utilizing Information on websites of the United State Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). It sets drinking water quality standards based on the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). They are composed of enforceable Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCL) and Maximum Contaminant Level Goals (MCLG). The MCLG Is the level below which there is no known or expected risk to health. Unregulated contaminants have been also listed and monitored. Additionally, lots of rules and regulations are set under SDWA. The program of watershed management based on the Clean Water Act (CWA) is effective for water source protection. The direct oversight of public water systems is conducted by state, and an example has been surveyed utilizing Information on websites of the California Department of Public Health. It conducts adopting stringent water quality standards, presenting templates for consumer confidence reports and public notification in accident, and completing drinking water source assessment and protection program.
