A Glance at the World

摘要

This column comprises notes and info not subjected to peer-review focusing on waste management issues in different corners of the world. Its aim is to open a window onto the solid waste management situation in any given country, major city or significant geographic area that may be of interest to the scientific and technical community. The National University of Malaysia is one of Malaysia's leading universities with a campus population of approximately 30,000 lecturers and students. In view of the size of this community, solid waste management represents a major challenge in achieving institutional sustainability.
