Management of post-consumer packaging in Brazil

摘要

Basic sanitation services in Brazil includes handling of municipal solid waste, street cleaning, garbage collection, water supply, sewage system implementation, treatment and drainage. Furthermore, social issues related to solid waste management, and therefore their technical, financial and environmental aspects have always been discussed. In Brazil, as well as in other developing countries, there's the need of integrating independent collectors of recyclable solid waste and recyclable material into the Municipal Selective Waste Collection (MSWC) as well as into some Reverse Logistics Systems (RLS), especially for general packaging collection.
