UCT Rides High In Fort Worth

For the first time, the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT) was held in Fort Worth, TX. "This location proved to be a great opportunity for UCT," said Karen Francis, UCT's conference director. "We welcomed 24 new exhibitors, and especially appreciated the involvement and support from the city. Mayor Pro Tem Dennis Shingleton officially opened the exhibit hall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also, John Carman, the city's water director, joined other municipal and government officials, contractors, engineers and vendors from across the nation for a networking breakfast and to deliver a keynote address."
