摘要

TR&T (Tubular Roof & Trench) method has been recently invented for safety and effectiveness of the underground construction. In this research, first, TR&T method was verified by numerical analysis results compared with field measurement. Then, the case study on practical applications at various areas in Korea was performed to inspect the behavior of TR&T and ground based on numerical approach. The case study was composed of 3 items such as large sectional excavation for box structure, cross excavation beneath the existing railway, and excavation adjacent to the existing box structure. 2 and 3 dimensional analyses were employed to simulate sequential construction and examine the behavior of steel pipe and soils. From the results, overall behavior and performance of TR&T system were thoroughly analyzed.
