Waverly, Tennessee was a city with a problem. Required to correct effluent discharge violations at its aerated lagoon treatment plant, they opted to install a force main system. Funding for the project was a challenge, as was the short time frame - so they hired engineering firm Gresham, Smith & Partners (GSP) to design and oversee construction of a system that would require installation of more than 16,000 feet of pipe during phase one of the project.
