The end of an era for the TPR: David Massey retires as an editor

With this issue of the TPR, David Massey steps down as a member of the team of editors, thus bringing to a close a period of more than forty years in which he has been centrally involved in editing the journal. After becoming Assistant Editor (to Josephine Reynolds) in 1971, David went on to serve as sole Editor from 1976 onwards and, apart from a short break in the mid 1980s, he has continued to work as sole, or co-, Editor ever since.
