First-time visitors to Purilum may be forgiven for thinking they arrived at a pharmaceutical laboratory instead of an e-liquid manufacturing facility. Before entering the production area, guests and employees are given surgeon-style garments to cover their clothes, heads, mouths and shoes. As an added precaution, they must disinfect their rubber gloves with antibacterial soap. "People are the greatest potential source of contamination," explains Bianca Iodice, president of Purilum.
