Supplying raw materials to the tobacco industry is a demanding task in times of shrinking cigarette sales. The downward trend in global cigarette consumption that has been going on for some years, and since 2015 extends even to China, has also impacted demand for traditional reconstituted tobacco leaf (RTL), also known as homogenized tobacco.
