The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) regulation of e-cigarettes promulgated in May 2016 could ultimately become vapor smoke and mirrors under the new U.S. leadership. However, with the Trump administration and new FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb at the helm, the deeming rule may evaporate as quickly as e-cigarette vapor.
