Modeling of Mass Electrotransfer in Terms of the Transport and Structural Properties of Ion-Exchange Membranes

摘要

Mass electrotransfer in membrane systems is modeled in terms of the transport and structural properties of the membranes. Experimental concentration-dependent conductivity and diffusion flux data are used to calculate and compare the transport and structural parameters of cation- and anion-exchange membranes employed in electrodialyzers.
