A Study of Moisture-proof PTP Packaging made from Cyclo Olefin Copolymer

For highly moisture-proof press through packaging (PTP) films. polyvinylidenechloride resin (PVDC) has been widely used, though involving a problem of chlorine gas produced during the incineration. We used the eco-friendly, non-chloride resin, cyclo olefin copolymer (COC), for PTP packaging of Size 2 capsule and made comparison with the PVDC film for compatibility with machine, moisture-proof ability, and ease of unpacking.
