A total or 22 public, school, and academic librarians, along with a handful of graduate students studying Library and Information Science, assembled together at the Washington State Convention Center for the 2013 Midwinter meeting of the ALCTS Creative Ideas in Technical Services Interest Group. In August 2012, Chairperson Wyoma vanDuinkerken (Texas A&M University) and Chair-Elect/Vice Chair Lynn Fields (Southern Illinois University Edwardsville) met virtually to discuss possible topics for the meeting.
