摘要

The studies were carried out in the younger (on average 23 years) and older (on average 32 years) advanced regeneration for the period of 12 years. A positive correlation was found between the height of regeneration and the height range and the negative correlation between the height and the density and number of trees in the upper, middle and lower layers. Treatments based on the positive selection resulted in the reduction of the number of trees in the lower layer in the younger advanced growth. Treatments based on the negative selection inhibited the self-thinning in the younger advanced regeneration and accelerated the self-thinning of trees of the middle layer. The principles of tending the advanced regeneration were laid down on the basis of the obtained results taking account of the limitation of the number of tending centres to 100 per hectare and of the spatial variation of the intensity and technique of treatments.
