Message from the Local Organising Chair and Program Committee Chair

August 2020 is the opportunity for space researchers, engineers and thinkers from across the world to gather alongside Sydney Harbour for COSPAR 2020. The timing is perfect. Australia's space sector is accelerating faster than anywhere on Earth; our new Australian Space Agency is prioritising the growth of research enabled space industry and space-inspired education and STFM; we continue to pursue space science excellence in areas such as space and solar physics, space srtuatronal awareness, planetary science, astrobiology and more; and the country and indeed region are embracing the disruption and opportunity afforded by the application of small spacecraft and artificial intelligence to space research and space technology.
