摘要

Tazhong uplift of Tarim basin experienced 3 development stages of rifting deposition, tectonic inversion and swell erosion, rising and subsiding activities. The Silurian asphalt sandstones distributed widely in the uplift are formed in the process of petroleum migration other than after petroleum accumulation. The overlying muddy sediments were in the eogenetic stage while petroleum migrating and accumulating, which caused the carrier beds (potential oil-bearing horizons) to be touched with meteoric waters and petroleum to be oxidized as asphalt.
