Sedimentary environments and coal accumulting characteristics of yima coal field, henan

摘要

On the basis of sedimentary characteristics, the sedimentary environments of the Yima formation which can be divided into three members from bottom to top i.e., the lower conglomerate member composed mainly of the alluvial fan deposits; the middle sandstone member consisting mainly of the lakeshore delta deposits, and the upper mudstone member made up of the lacustrine deposits .In addition, coal accumulating charactristics have also been discussed.
