摘要

The flexible design method based on Engineering Geomechanics Metal-synthetic Theory (EGMS) is new and applicable for slope engineering, which is seemed as one open complex huge system. Measuring information is an important base for the above new design method. So it's very fundamental to predict the deformation trend through analyses on measuring information about slopes. In this paper, various methods used for analyses and predictions of slope deformations are discussed, and in the shiplock slope of Wuqiangxi Hydroelectric Power Station the fact that they acted as a base for judgement of the engineering Design, are also introduced.
