摘要

Under given conditions the shearing strength or c value in a weakness surface can be precisely back- analysed when rock slopes slide along it. That shearing strength is useful to improve the precision of analysis on slope stability. This method is commonly serviceable in concordant dip-slip slopes. In this paper the main emphases are back-analysis on the strength in slip surface transecting layers and assessment of the stability of concordant dip-slip rock slopes under excavation, and then the so-called BS trial computation method is initially proposed.
