The world economy will lose momentum in 2012 and output growth is expected to have dropped to around 3.3 per cent after 3.8 per cent in 2011. 2013 at the earliest global growth will build momentum, albeit gradually. In spite of everything, most of the developed nations are still stuck in the slow lane of activity. Economic performances range from recession through much of Europe, to minimal growth in Japan and only moderate advances in Canada and the U.S. in 2013, with a below-average growth in Germany.
