At the age of forty my son James finally decided to follow me into the hobby of flying model aircraft. My sixteen-year-old robbe Charter was spruced up and flown until he could make competent circuits together with take-offs and landings. All this was not without a number of knocks and bumps to the Charter, which very quickly began to look very tatty. A new model was definitely needed and to assist the learning curve one with ailerons was called for.
